Located in Great Bend, Kansas since 1948. Founded by O.E. Rosencrantz and Carney Bemis. These small business men started out drilling domestic, stock and irrigation wells. As the business progressed, shallow oil and gas wells became a new development, along with storage wells.
By the 1960’s Rosencrantz-Bemis began to sell center pivot irrigation systems and windmills. Soon after, there became a need for the service work of domestic and irrigation pumps.
In 1972, a 20 year employee of Rosencrantz–Bemis, Lyle Dodson purchased the company. The 21st century, Rosencrantz-Bemis Enterprises Inc. is stronger than ever. Now with an additional company outside of Hutchinson, Kansas by the name of Darling Drilling Company. This entity brings several decades of industry drilling experience, services, sells, and repairs. Our portfolio of customers has grown graciously over the decades.
